Beautiful ship/tug boat built in 1938. It features a variety of exterior and interior areas, an uncluttered 90 ft deck, interior areas with skylights to allow for lighting from outside, a large wheelhouse with shooting access on 3 sides, captains cabin with portholes on 4 sides, a kitchen in a 1/2 circle, a distressed engine room.
There are interior areas for makeup and wardrobe depending on areas being used for shoot, there is a restroom, and there are outlets, fuses are 20 amps. If you need more power than that, a generator is required.
Need to determine for all shoots if need to stay docked or on the water
Fees vary according to hours, size of shoot, what is needed
Some renovations have taken place on the ship:
Exterior of the house (the red and white upsticking portion where the cabins are) has new coat of paint on most of it. There is gray primer in a few areas.
Galley walls repainted original light mint color. Cabinets repainted white. Doors on wood fridge fixed.
Captain’s cabin walls repainted light blue, floor repainted brick red
Fidley floor repainted brick red (that’s the big space over the engine with partially grated floor)
Wheelhouse floor repainted brick red. It is currently undergoing a big restoration and all the wood doors and windows are pulled out for revarnishing. Depending on fee, could reinstall for the shoot, though their absence actually makes it easier to shoot inside the wheelhouse.
Tankerman’s cabin (the one with bunkbeds) has been repainted with ceiling peasant’s egg grey green and walls a very light grey-green.
Interior stairway and main deck has been repainted brick red. There is less deck clutter.
