This home is a castle on the outside housing a barn on the inside. The entire home is stone with a slate roof with a tower bedroom opening out onto a balcony overlooking The Catskills.
Inside the home is a three floor lofted open floor plan with beams, floors, walls and ceiling all made from pine. An enormous stone fireplace runs up the center of the house with large fireplace openings (first floor can fit four foot long logs) on the first and second floor. The kitchen tile, and multiple doors on the first floor were sourced from 16th century Spain and London.
Also on the property is a restored water tower built in 1885 and one of only two remaining in the Catskills. The tower is winterized and its third floor opens onto a 360 degree balcony offering panoramic views of the property and surrounding mountains.
Prefers photo shoots and no more than 25 people inside.
No nailing into walls. No painting of walls.
