Charming 1850’s farmhouse on country road with a recent addition added to look like a barn in keeping with the 1850’s architecture. Great room has a floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace.
3 airy bedrooms, an upstairs master suite, 3 gas fireplaces and a sauna room. All of the rooms are bright and open.
The property is located on 1 ½ acres with a seasonal running creek adjacent to the home. There is an in-ground saline heated pool with a vine covered fence, enclosed hot water outdoor shower, a two story garage that resembles another barn. Well maintained property with park-like atmosphere, bluestone pathways, stone covered outside chimney.
In the upstairs of the original 1850’s farmhouse is a master suite with a claw foot tub in the bathroom. The bedroom has 13 foot ceilings with a chandelier in the suite and bathroom.
On the main level in the original farmhouse, there is a small bedroom and living room with the original 6 ft ceilings. The dining room has a new tray ceiling. All of the pine flooring in the original farmhouse has been painted white to keep with the country charm. When entering the dining room in the original farmhouse it then flows through the sitting area with French doors extending to the outside deck.
From the sitting room you enter the new addition into a top of the line kitchen then to open dining area to the fireplace at the far end of the great room with 18 foot ceilings and two sets of french doors. The stairs along the side wall of the great room go up to two bedrooms, a full bathroom and small loft sitting area. The lower level has been divided into an entertainment area with sofas, an exercise area and there is a separate sauna room. There is also a full bathroom on the lower level.
