Notes
A sunlit 1950s Dutch Colonial cottage set on 5 private, wooded acres in the Hudson Valley. The main living area is anchored by soaring cathedral ceilings and a stone-and-brick fireplace, opening onto a chef’s kitchen and dining area filled with natural light through oversized windows. Two bedrooms and their accompanying baths sit just off this main level, furnished with the same mix of mid-century modern pieces, vintage art, and curated décor found throughout the house.
Downstairs, an industrial-edged space with polished concrete floors and soaring cedar ceilings currently serves as an entertaining and creative lounge, complete with a pool table and a picturesque half bath, but its open layout and separate access make it easy to reconfigure for whatever a shoot or production needs, from a second set to a green room to a full second location within the house. A sculptural wood-and-steel staircase connects both levels and continues up to a loft/attic reading nook.
Outside, two patios open onto lush surrounding forest, quiet, private, and atmospheric in every season: brilliant fall foliage, quiet snow-blanketed stillness in winter, and deep green cover through spring and summer.
Spacious enough for a full crew and distinctive enough to carry a shoot on its own, it’s a natural fit for lifestyle, home decor, wellness, and shoots looking for a warm, editorial backdrop and character-rich home.
