60 acre farm with farmhouse, stone barn, wellness studio, spring house with loft, wine cellar, 4 writer’s cabins on a separate grove, pond and animals (8 alpacas, 1 llama, 3 goats, and 3 swans.
Farmhouse: 1.800’s stone farmhouse with original summer kitchen dating back to 1760’s, 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. New addition was added in 2007 by Peter Zimmerman Architects.
Stone/Art Barn: a stone barn with a stone arch on the first floor on the creek side, rustic meditation room and event space.
Wellness Studio/Yoga Barn: a former stone piggery, which may well have been the first barn on the premises, has stunning beams, features a soapstone sink, prop wall and has it’s own bathroom.
Spring House: a three-story stone spring house with a walk-in fireplace and loft space, water runs through the first floor. The spring house provided water for the premises until modern concerns resulted in a well in 2005.
Wine Cellar: formerly a stone tannery and rennovated into a wine cellar early 2024, built into a steep hill, also has a spring from the hillside running through it.
Writer’s Cottages: 4 cabins built in Lancaster, with silent electric generators, tucked into a small grove out on the farm.
Farm: 15 acres of chestnut, 3 organic gardens (cocktail, kitchen and community), stream-side plantings of elderberry and other wetland crops, 3 acres of wildflower meadow.
Restrictions:
No painting or nailing into walls.
2nd and 3rd floor of farmhouse are off-limits unless permission obtained in advance.
No shooting from 11pm to 4am.
Small events possible (no weddings or receptions).
